Ian Fleming's Jamaica

. . along this highway was shot part of the double-deck bus chase from 'Live and Let Die'. London double-deck bus instructor Maurice Patchett was flown over from London to handle the big Leyland.

Waiting for the bus.

Although shot in Jamaica, the location was portrayed as the fictional San Monique. The bridge through which Bond shears off the top of the bus was built on a side road just for the film. I am told it was re-assembled after filming and has been turned into a roadside bar in Negril. I couldn't find it.
