1997 heralds the 10th anniversary of the Commanders Club.
While every odd year we produce a Fall Gala for the enjoyment of our guests and members, this year's late October event would have additional weight as a time to savour our first decade.
A private suite of rooms in San Francisco's Palace Hotel served as the location. The Salon room featured the foods and cocktails of 007 as well as a fine assortment of Bond cinema art, rare imprints, thematic presentations and a carefully selected 007 soundtrack.
Through double mahogany doors, guests also enjoyed the taut excitement of the Casino, featuring Baccarat in traditional continental presentation.
