Tomorrow Never Dies
'Tomorrow Never Dies' reviews

With the release of Tomorrow Never Dies on videocassette, it is appropriate to revisit the film. This was the 18th Bond movie, the second for Pierce Brosnan and the first for which the Commanders Club has offered public reviews.

The divisions of opinion are distinct and reflect differing expectations of a Bond film as the 20th century comes to a close. Like Bond film viewers everywhere, the writers here reflect expectations ranging from complete tradition to an elegantly updated version of Ian Fleming's creation.

However, none would argue that the successful release of TND doesn't at least breathe continued life into the heritage from which it borrows rather little.
