2019 Free Agent Profile: Luke Wilson

In his career, after posting mediocre numbers and serving mostly as a blocking tight end in Detroit, Willson put up 1,129 yards and 11 touchdowns during his five year stint in Seattle. Willson was often the second option behind Jimmy Graham, so the potential for the 6-foot-5, 251-pound tight-end to breakout as a weapon in an NFL offense seems possible.

In Detroit, Willson took over now Indianapolis Colt Eric Ebron's role as Detroit's top tight end, and was paired with Michael Roberts and Levine Toilolo to help the squad remake the position for the team. With Willson on a one year contract, it will be interesting to see if the Lions do bring him back when all is said and done this offseason.
