After being a career backup, Indianapolis Colts cornerback Pierre Desir had a breakout 2018. Desir played in all 16 of the Colts games, starting 12, and started both of the Colts playoff games this year. Desir had 79 tackles, two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery this year. Defending the pass he had eight passes defensed and one interception.

In his four seasons prior to this one, Desir played in 33 career games for three different NFL teams. In that time, he started 13 of them. He had 62 total tackles, 15 passes defensed and one interception before his breakout season in 2018.
