Brazil to Face El Salvador on September 11 at FedExField


Five-time World Cup winners Brazil will face El Salvador on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 8:00 FedExField.

Tickets will start at 33 dollars and will go on sale to the general public Aug. 10 via Redskins' suite and premium season ticket members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets prior to the general public sale.

Brazil is the only national team in the World Cup to have lifted the trophy five times. The Selecao is managed by Tite and is led by some of the game's most famous players including Neymar Jr. (Paris Saint-Germain), Philippe Coutinho (FC Barcelona), Marcelo (Real Madrid) and Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain).

Brazil last played at FedExField on May 12, 2012, when it beat the United States 4-1.

El Salvador is coached by Carlos de los Cobos and is led by Arturo Alvarez (Houston Dynamo), Andres Flores (Portland Timbers) and Jaime Alas (Municipal, Guatemala). De los Cobos recently returned to the national team after previously coaching Los Cuscatlecos from 2006-09.
