Sure, Niles Paul could have played some Madden at his home by himself. But it's always better to play with someone else, especially when you can play with a Redskins fan.
Paul, who has remained active in the community as he recovers from his season-ending surgery, visited The Children's Inn, in Bethesda, Md., to visit with some of the young patients there.
He posed for photos, signed some autographs and spent some quality time with them, including playing some of those video games, as DJ can attest.
The Inn is a residential "Place Like Home" for families and children participating in leading edge research studies at the National Institute of Health. The Inn, as it states on its website, takes care of the child's "heart, soul and spirit."
I'm sure Paul had no problem providing some of that on Tuesday.
