Players will leave for training camp in Tampa in early March before heading overseas in early April. The NFL Europa season begins on April 14.
The World Bowl XV is June 23 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Meantime, former Redskins linebacker Philippe Gardent will play for the Cologne Centurions in NFL Europa.
Gardent spent the 2006 season on the Redskins' practice squad, as part of the NFL's International Development Practice Sqaud program. He was one of eight players--from five countries--to earn a position on practice squad rosters from the NFC East and AFC North divisions.
Gardent was not re-signed by the Redskins after the 2006 season. He hopes to rejoin the team for training camp in July.
"What I hope is that I have shown my coaches and teammates enough to get involved in the organization for next season and to at least get a [tryout] for training camp," he said.
Gardent was NFL Europa Defensive MVP honors last year, when he recorded a league-best 71 tackles. He also had two sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
In addition, the brother of Redskins' QB Casey Bramlet, Corey, will play in NFL Europa. Corey Bramlet was assigned to the Amsterdam Admirals.
