Redskins Sign RB to Practice Squad

The Redskins signed running back Dahrran Diedrick to the team's practice squad, the team announced on Oct. 27.

Diedrick, 6-0 and 225 pounds, signed with the Green Bay Packers in January 2004 after two stints on the Packers practice squad in 2003. He had been released in August.

Diedrick originally signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted rookie free agent in May 2003. He ended his career at Nebraska with 2,745 yards, eighth best in Cornhusker history, on 502 carries (5.4 average). He posted 26 touchdowns.

To make room for Diedrick, the Redskins released running back Sultan McCullough.
