But the Redskins weren't ready to just accept a loss. Instead, they came back in the second half fighting.

Two touchdowns from quarterback Mark Rypien to wide receiver Gary Clark gave the Redskins a slight lead, 14-13. The offense was assisted by winning on third downs, going 10-of-15 in the game to keep New York's tired defense on the field.

Eventually, it was too much to take for the Giants.

The comeback was clinched with a field goal in the fourth quarter to secure the comeback and remain undefeated with a 17-13 victory.
