"Imagine how great it will be for the kids attending this fair to walk where some of their favorite athletes play. This is the kind of event that can have an immeasurable impact in our community," said Msgr. John Enzler, President and CEO of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington. "Too many kids fall behind when they aren't prepared for school when their parents aren't able to provide some of the very basics. I am very honored to see Catholic Charities and the Redskins Charitable Foundation partner on this inaugural Back to School Fair, it is going to be an amazing event."
Redskins alumni will be present to assist youth as they shop for new a new backpack and greet families as they arrive to FedExField. Additional entertainment for families will include characters from the Warner Brothers, a DJ and a raffle.
