While there certainly isn't anything fun about breaking a bone, there was something a little bit cool about picking out your cast color.
Would you go traditional black or white? Or were you more of someone who wanted to stand out, going with a color that really grabs attention?
Well, for Washington Redskins tight end Niles Paul, he chose the latter, going with a bright green cast on his ankle.
"My cast is too official... Who wants to sign it? Don't mind my toes, they've been through some hard times over the last few weeks lol," Paul captioned the photo.
