Ward 3 Legends Firehouse Surprise
On June 12th, we surprised firemen at 3 firehouse locations in Ward 3 of Washington, D.C. Washington Legends Santana Moss, Doc Walker, Virgil Seay and Ken Harvey brought each firehouse some lunch and Commanders giveaways to spread team spirit.

Summer Kickoff Meal
On June 10th, we partnered with DC Central Kitchen for a summer kickoff meal at Boone Elementary School! Washington Legends Josh Morgan, Rocky McIntosh, and Ricky Ervins helped serve food to students at the school.

2025 World Pride Parade
On June 7th, representatives from our organization attended the 2025 World Pride Parade in Washington, DC! Members from the Commanders Pride Network, along with their friends and family, walked with our Command Force and handed out branded giveaways to parade-goers.

DCPS Retirement Ceremony
On June 5th, we participated in the Retirement Recognition Celebration for DCPS Teachers! Washington Legend Kevin Barnes handed out team-branded swag bags and a custom jersey.

Ward 6 Legends Firehouse Surprise
On June 5th, we surprised firemen at 3 firehouse locations in Ward 6 of Washington, D.C. Washington Legends Fred Smoot and Josh Wilson brought the firehouse some lunch and Commanders giveaways to spread team spirit.

Ward 3 Legends Community Walk
On June 4th, Washington Legends Fred Smoot, Josh Morgan, Derrick Dockery and Kevin Barnes visited small businesses around Ward 3 in Washington, D.C. They distributed team-branded giveaways and spread excitement throughout the community.

Goodman League Opening Day
On June 4th, we joined the Goodman League as they celebrated their opening day at the Barry Farm Recreation Center in Southeast DC! Washington Legend Rocky McIntosh and Major Tuddy handed out giveaways and hyped up the crowd as Commissioner Miles Rawls cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Payne Elementary School Pep Rally
On June 3rd, we surprised students of Payne Elementary School for their end-of-year pep rally! Members of Command Force, Major Tuddy, and Washington Legends Josh Morgan and Josh Wilson helped hype up the school as they head into summer.

Capital Cup Sports Festival
In celebration of World Pride in DC, we joined the Capital Cup Sports Festival DC Gay Flag Football Tournament on Saturday, May 31st. Teams and fans enjoyed giveaways and photo opportunities with Major Tuddy and members of our Command Force.

Ward 7 Town Hall
On May 22nd, we joined a Ward 7 town hall with Mayor Bowser, Councilmember Felder, Councilmember McDuffie and Deputy Mayor Nina Albert to discuss the stadium project and hear directly from the community. Stay tuned for more opportunities to attend the next hall and pick up your supporter gear!

DCPS Girls Flag Championship
On May 21st, Washington Legends Gary Clark and Josh Morgan helped cheer on Coolidge High School and Eastern High School in the DC Public School Girls Flag Football Championship. Fans enjoyed a special live halftime performance from the Command Force and both teams walked away with some Commanders gear!

Tzedek DC Graduation
On May 8th we joined Tzedek DC in celebrating the newest graduates of its Young Adult Financial Empowerment Program! Washington Legend Fred Smoot joined in on the fun, meeting and celebrating with some of the new graduates.
