Details: The Fair will feature over 100 exhibitors, including an assortment of on-floor demonstrations showcasing a variety of employment and career opportunities. It will also feature drug and gun prevention programs, apprenticeship and other training programs, workforce development programs, and support service providers.

Black Sports Business Symposium
On August 6th – 8th the Washington Commanders attended and sponsored the Black Sports Business Symposium on the campus of Howard University. The Black Sports Business Symposium (BlackSportsBiz) is an annual event that unites, cultivates, illuminates, and celebrates Black professionals and students in the sports business industry. BlackSportsBiz serves as central for Black talent acquisition, engagement, and development within professional sports, spanning leagues, teams, agencies, and beyond, for all career levels.

MPD Surprise Visit with Legends
On August 7, we surprised MPD in Ward 3 with Washington Legends and special giveaways. Our Legends connected with officers, explored their daily equipment, and shared meaningful conversations. The visit brought plenty of smiles and created a memorable moment of appreciation between the team and our community heroes.

The Rammys
On August 3, we sponsored and attended The RAMMYS DC. The RAMMY Awards have become a signature celebration of the Metropolitan Washington region's restaurant, food, and beverage industry. More than just an evening of recognition, the event supports the work of RAMW and the Educated Eats Foundation, helping to provide education, workforce development, and community programs that uplift and strengthen the DC community.

Live Get Loud Podcast
On June 27th, we recorded a live episode of our Get Loud podcast at Duffy's Irish Pub in Washington, DC! Washington Legend Fred Smoot and host Michael Jenkins talked all things Commanders, football, and pop culture.

Bisnow Event
On June 26th, Bisnow hosted an event focused on the future of the RFK Stadium, its impact on surrounding neighborhoods, redevelopment opportunities, and what this transformation means for the district's next wave of growth. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser addressed attendees along with other representatives from the DC community.

Ward 6 Legends Firehouse Surprise
On June 26th, we surprised firemen at 3 firehouse locations in Ward 6 with lunch and giveaways. Team President Mark Clouse and Legends Ken Harvey, Mark Moseley, Gary Clark and Doc Walker also surprised Engine Company 18—the group who responded to January's American Airlines crash—with tickets to our Home Opener vs. the Giants.

3rd Annual 7F02 Peace Jam
On June 21st, we attended the 3rd Annual 7F02 Peace Jam! This event is a community celebration and resource fair in Washington, DC with food, music, and health & wellness services. Commanders representatives handed out giveaways and joined in on the fun.

On June 20th, we recorded a live episode of our Command Center podcast at The Muni in Washington, DC! Washington Legends Logan Paulsen, Santana Moss, and Fred Smoot break down the upcoming season for the team.

Ward 4 Legends Firehouse Surprise
On June 20th, we surprised firemen at 3 firehouse locations in Ward 4 of Washington, D.C. Washington Legends Josh Morgan, Ricky Ervins, Gary Clark, and Doc Walker brought each firehouse some lunch and Commanders giveaways to spread team spirit.

Ward 4 Legends Community Walk
On June 18th, Washington Legends Fred Smoot, Josh Morgan, Ricky Ervins and Kevin Barnes visited small businesses around Ward 4 in Washington, D.C. They distributed team-branded giveaways and spread excitement throughout the community.

Promotion Ceremony at CW Harris
On June 16th, we attended a 5th grade promotion ceremony at CW Harris Elementary School in Washington, DC! Current player Mike Sainristil, members of Command Force, and Major Tuddy handed out branded giveaways and snow cones to congratulate the kids as they were promoted to 6th grade.

U.S. Army's 250th Birthday Celebration
On June 14th, we joined as the U.S. Army celebrated its 250th birthday. Kids were able to participate in football drills with Washington Legend Rocky McIntosh and Major Tuddy during the festival in Washington, D.C.

On June 11th, Washington Legends Gary Clark, Josh Morgan, Josh Wilson and Kevin Barnes visited small businesses around Ward 3 in Washington, D.C. They distributed team-branded giveaways and spread excitement throughout the community.

Summer Kickoff Meal
On June 10th, we partnered with DC Central Kitchen for a summer kickoff meal at Boone Elementary School! Washington Legends Josh Morgan, Rocky McIntosh, and Ricky Ervins helped serve food to students at the school.

2025 World Pride Parade
On June 7th, representatives from our organization attended the 2025 World Pride Parade in Washington, DC! Members from the Commanders Pride Network, along with their friends and family, walked with our Command Force and handed out branded giveaways to parade-goers.

DCPS Retirement Ceremony
On June 5th, we participated in the Retirement Recognition Celebration for DCPS Teachers! Washington Legend Kevin Barnes handed out team-branded swag bags and a custom jersey.

Goodman League Opening Day
On June 4th, we joined the Goodman League as they celebrated their opening day at the Barry Farm Recreation Center in Southeast DC! Washington Legend Rocky McIntosh and Major Tuddy handed out giveaways and hyped up the crowd as Commissioner Miles Rawls cut the ceremonial ribbon.

Payne Elementary School Pep Rally
On June 3rd, we surprised students of Payne Elementary School for their end-of-year pep rally! Members of Command Force, Major Tuddy, and Washington Legends Josh Morgan and Josh Wilson helped hype up the school as they head into summer.

Capital Cup Sports Festival
In celebration of World Pride in DC, we joined the Capital Cup Sports Festival DC Gay Flag Football Tournament on Saturday, May 31st. Teams and fans enjoyed giveaways and photo opportunities with Major Tuddy and members of our Command Force.
