Having his best game of the season to date, Washington Redskins running back Rob Kelley is one of three players up for FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 4. You can vote for him here.

After powering through for his first 100-yard rushing game of the season, Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones is a nominee for FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 4.

In the Redskins' 31-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at FedExField, Jones ran for 117 yards and a key touchdown in the fourth quarter to extend Washington's lead to double digits.

"I get in a rhythm early and that's where coaches kind of excel me and they kind of get a feel of where I'm coming from," Jones said after the game. "And they've given me more opportunities, and when we're rolling like that, they want to keep giving me the ball."

Jones' production allowed Washington to get the balance on offense it has been seeking all season, as quarterback Trent Williams had 27 pass attempts while Jones, Chris Thompson and Rob Kelley combined for 26 rushing attempts.

But Jones was the story of the day for the ground game, as he "was being decisive" whenever his number was called.

"He was seeing the holes and he was taking them and he was running really hard," tight end Jordan Reed said. "He's going to keep on grinding and keeping the ball."

Jones also had a little extra motivation up in the stands.

"I'm definitely running for my kids, man, my two little girls," he said. "It was my mom's first game out there, too. You know, I just wanted to just be decisive and show my mom what I got and what I'm capable of, what she brought in this world."

Jones is up against Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell. But it's clear who deserves your vote, so make your voice heard.
