The Washington Redskins train at their world-class Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond, VA. (Behind the Science Museum of Virginia – 2401 West Leigh Street, Richmond, VA 23220).

What is the official name of the training center?

The official name of the Redskins training facility located in Richmond is the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center.

How many practices are there?

13 open on-field sessions.

What happens between the practices and walkthroughs?

Fans are welcome to explore the training facility and visit concessions. There may sometimes be sponsored events or children's activities for fans to take part in as well.

Admission

Is there an admission fee to attend Training Camp?

Admission to Training Camp is free for all fans; however, entry or access to the Washington Redskins Bon Secours Training Facility is not guaranteed. Entry may be restricted as necessary to ensure the safety of training camp attendees.

Fans must sign up for a FREE Fan Mobile Pass and present their pass to enter any o the open practice dates at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center.

Upon arrival to your event, locate your tickets in your Redskins Mobile app or the My Redskins Account mobile website. You will show you ticket to the ticket scanner, your bar code is scanned, and you're in!

How do I access my ticket(s)?

How To Access Your Ticket(s):

  1. Open your My Redskins App using your mobile internet. If you do not have the Redskins App downloaded, click here to download at the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  2. Login to your My Redskins account using the email address and password created during purchase/redemption
  3. Locate your ticket(s) for today's event
  4. Tap and show. Your phone will be scanned for entry and you are in!

Pro Tip: Add your ticket(s) to your phone's "wallet" and have a fully charged battery

Is there an age limit for Training Camp attendees?

Training Camp is open to children and adults of all ages. From Play 60 youth fitness obstacle courses and various interactive tents to special events, giveaways and other unique fan experience destinations, there are exciting opportunities for Redskins fans of all ages.

Can I bring my pet to Training Camp?

No, pets are not permitted at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center (except for certified guide dogs assisting disabled guests).

Security

What is security like at Training Camp?

For security purposes, all visitors will go through a metal detector and bag check prior to entering the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center. All visitors and bags entering the facility grounds are subject to search by team security.

Are any items prohibited?

We ask that you arrive early and travel light, as you will go through a metal detector and bag search. For safety reasons, prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
  • Audio/video recorders, professional cameras (at the request of promoters, use of cell phones may be prohibited during events) and tripods depending upon the promoter request
  • Pop up tents or shelters
  • Fireworks or other explosives
  • Flags or signs with poles
  • Laser pens or pointers of any type
  • Noisemakers or air horns
  • Over sized bags
  • Pepper spray/mace
  • Chains, knives and spiked jewelry
  • Weapons, knives, firearms or anything that security/police deem a weapon
  • Drones or any other unmanned aircraft
  • Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters (motorized or push), hover boards, Segways
  • Megaphones, PA Systems, air horns
  • Pets (service animals exempt)
  • Flyers/stickers
  • Any other items deemed unacceptable by event/facility management

If an item is revealed during a search, patrons may dispose of the item or they may return the item to their vehicle. The venue does not safeguard any personal belongs of any type. Security has final say on allowed and prohibited items.

Autographs & Fan Activities

Will players and coaches be available for autographs?

Yes. Following practice, Redskins players and coaches are available to sign autographs and take pictures with fans, schedules permitting. There is no guarantee that you will have an opportunity to receive autographs during Training Camp.

Can I take photos of the players and coaches during Training Camp practices?

Yes; however, Redskins staff may request at any time that you cease using those devices.

Where can I buy Redskins merchandise at Training Camp?

The Redskins Team Store has a tent on-site and is the source for all of the newest Redskins merchandise, such as jerseys, hats, men's apparel, women's apparel, youth apparel, Training Camp gear, souvenirs and more.

Is seating provided for fans at Training Camp?

There are no blaechers on-site; however, fans can watch practice from the three-tier outdoor amphitheater. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during practice, overlooking the practice fields. Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center's visitors can walk around designated areas outside the practice fields to watch their favorite players.

What activities are offered at Training Camp?

In addition to the opportunity to watch practice, the Redskins offer special events such as the Football Fundamentals Skills Camp put on by the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Redskins Showcase with special guest appearances by Redskins alumni, giveaways and other unique fan experiences. Fans can also enjoy various interactive tens and purchase their favorite Redskins merchandise at the Redskins Team Store tent.

Located next to the training facility are the Science Museum of Virginia and Children's Museum of Richmond, and Scott's Addition is in walking distance to Scott's Addition. Fans can also take advantage of special exhibits that will be featured during the camp.

Are there any special opportunities for military members?

Redskins Salute, the Redskins official military club, will provide special giveaways and offers during Training camp. There will be a dedicated Military Appreciation Day with a variety of experiences for military members. Dates and additional details will be released closer to camp. Food & Beverage

Are food and beverages available at Training Camp?

Yes, there is a variety of food and non-alcoholic beverages that are available for purchase on-site. Additionally, fans are able to bring in food and beverages.

Can I bring a cooler to Training Camp?

Outside beverages and food are allowed on the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center premises. However, a variety of snacks and beverages from vendors on-site are available for purchase. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

What does the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center provide the surrounding community outside of the three-week Training camp?

When the Washington Redskins are not conducting Training Camp at the site, Bon Secours Virginia Health System operates a full service Sports Medicine office and two primary care offices. SMG books and manages events and activities throughout the year. The 2017-18 year hosted 200 days of additional events which included concerts, craft beer festivals, weddings, galas, private social functions, corporate meetings and employee days, youth and professional sporting events and national tournaments. Fields and the park are available for rental by reaching out to info@smgrichmond.com or 804-257-9913.

The Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center includes a community park with a three-tier outdoor amphitheater, VITA fitness equipment, Play 60 obstacle course, and walking trails to enhance the benefits for residents as well as camp attendees. This 2.5 acre space, open everyday from dawn to dusk, is a perfect area to host both private, corporate and community events.

Bon Secours also brings health care services and educational programs to Richmond's underserved areas surrounding the facility, furthering the health system's long established Healthy Communities initiative. Healthy Communities focuses activity in Richmond's East End and Church Hill neighborhoods and now includes communities around Leigh Street.
