The Black and Missing Foundation

The Black and Missing Foundation, Inc is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring awareness to missing persons of color; provide vital resources and tools to missing person's families and friends and to educate the minority community on personal safety. BAMFI creates public awareness campaigns for public safety and provides parents and loved ones of missing persons with a forum for spreading the word of their disappearance, with pictures and profiles of missing individuals. BAMFI also utilizes a variety of media platforms, including print, television, radio, and social media, to help locate those missing.

To provide youth from Washington, D.C. and surrounding communities with the technology, resources, access, training, and workforce development opportunities to succeed in the 21st century in Washington, D.C., with an emphasis on Wards 5-8 and Prince George's County HG works in partnership with violence prevention organizations, detention centers, celebrities, pro-athletes, and Fortune 500 companies to provide access to workforce opportunities, mental health, professional development, and social-emotional learning support and resources to students.
