After a productive late call-up last season, and a preseason filled with sacks, Redskins linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat has made the active roster.
Jeffcoat – who recorded one sack in each of the team's four preseason games – is joining Ryan Kerrigan, Trent Murphy and Preston Smith to complete a young and talented outside linebackers group.
While showing capable of getting to the quarterback, Jeffcoat also flashed his coverage skills, nabbing a Matt Schaub pass during the Redskins' victory over the Ravens.
The Texas product's attention now turns to next weekend's regular season opener against the Miami Dolphins at FedExField.
