Get to know your Washington Redskins Cheerleaders beyond the sidelines! Today's cheerleader is Adriana, who serves in the military and stays in shape by running 5K races.

Working in the administrative side of the Air Force allows me to perform so many different jobs and learn a little bit of everything. I provide personnel support such as working in customer service, updating records and giving briefings. It may not seem all that exciting, but I know that every simple task I perform can impact an individuals career in a big way. It's a lot of responsibility and it makes my job critical to sustaining a successful mission.

Being a Redskins Cheerleader has allowed me to get more involved in the community. Whether it's helping with blood drives, working out with kids at fitness events or visiting wounded warriors, it is always a rewarding experience to be able to make a difference and meet so many people.

One of my favorite things to do is to participate in races. I do everything from 5K's to full marathons including mud runs and obstacle course challenges. I once ran a half marathon in Leesburg, Va., then drove to Philadelphia and ran another half marathon the very next day. However, I'm not competitive, so I simply do it for fun and to stay in shape. I'm just happy to make it across the finish line!
