Commanders sign C Nick Harris

Roster Update - 1920x1080 (1)

The Washington Commanders have signed veteran center Nick Harris.

Harris, a fifth-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2020, has played in 45 games with six starts. All of Harris' NFL experience has come with the Browns, although he briefly signed with the Seattle Seahawks last season before being traded back to the Browns in August along with a seventh-round pick. He was active in Weeks 2-6 in 2024 and started in the Browns' games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles.

Prior to his professional career, Harris played for the University of Washington and was a four-year starter. He initially started at guard but moved to center -- a role he kept for his final two seasons. Harris was an Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 player as a sophomore and was named a First Team all-conference player as junior and senior.
