Sharing the news for the first time with the world, Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger posted photos to Instagram of his son, Dayarlo Jr., who was born May 27.
"Im Triple blessed and thankful for my beautiful Queen and all the work she did to bring me Dayarlo Jr!" he captioned. "He Will Be Nothing Short of a Legend!! We will teach him to be the Hardest Worker On the Planet and to strive for Excellence in Everything he does!!l!
Appropriately, as the team's newest safety, Swearinger was wearing a Sean Taylor jersey and has already adorned his son with a little Redskins gear.
In what's already been a monumental couple of weeks for Swearinger, the team starts minicamp for the next couple of days before he travels down to his hometown of Greenwood, S.C., to put on a free youth football camp and attend a car show.
