Derrius Guice Shows His Strength With 650-Pound Squat

The Washington Redskins have added depth to the running back position with LSU's Derrius Guice. The No. 59-overall pick's ferocious speed set him apart as a top talent in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Guice's intense workouts power his aggressive runs and remarkable balance. The 5-foot-11, 224 pounder has displayed his superhuman strength squatting an impressive 650 pounds.

Guice's speed led him to log more than 3,000 total rushing yards in his three seasons with the Tigers.  He also executed a notable performance at the 2018 NFL Combine, recording a 4.49-second 40-yard dash.

"I'm a very physical, powerful runner that doesn't shy away from contact," Guice said shortly after his selection. "I like to compare my game to Marshawn Lynch a lot. That's the big bro. I talk to him a lot and have gotten a lot of advice from him throughout this process as well. That's who I put my running style towards."
