Duke Ihenacho Finally Got His Hoverboard In The Mail

For more from the team, including exclusive videos, photos and written content, be sure to “like” the Redskins’ Official Facebook page.

Safety Duke Ihenacho isn't exactly "crusin down the street in his 64," but his set of "Uwheels" will have to do (for reference, he captioned his latest post, "'Cruisin…'Eazy Voice," likely inspired by the movie "Straight Outta Compton").

Ever since quarterback Robert Griffin III showed off his Space Chariot – subsequently spinning it around grocery stores – several other Redskins players, including wide receiver Andre Roberts, have purchased their own.

Ihenacho was particularly eager to find one when Griffin III posted about his connection a month ago. His current hoverboard is made by UWheels, which allegedly differs from the Space Chariot in its ability to play music through a Bluetooth function as you ride it.

In his original post, Ihenacho mentioned that he's still finding his balance on it and has fallen off a few times. "No harm done," he captioned. "The show must continue."

He should just be careful, especially considering rap artist Wiz Khalifa was just arrested for riding it around an airport. This was because, according Wiz, he "didn't want to ditch the technology everyone will be using the next six months."

If that's the case, consider Ihenacho, Griffin III, Roberts and other athletes using it ahead of the technological curve.
