The Redskins had a lot of stuff to remember in 2016.
Now that the season has come to a close, the Redskins Blog will select its favorite things from Redskins fans, players, coaches and team personnel over the last 12 months.
We'll continue with our five favorite Instagram posts from cornerback Josh Norman, who has a unique personality and strong love for Batman.
1. The Pogba
Caption: "Man @paulpogba I think you had something to do with our tie today since you guys tied the other day smh...haha glad you had a good time at your 1st official American game the guys enjoyed your company...Salute to you brotha."
As confusing as it was to leave London with a tie, the presence of Manchester United soccer star Paul Pogba following the team's game against the Begnals certainly helped relieve some of the Redskins' neutral feelings. Specifically, Norman had the opportunity to put on a smiling face with his signature tongue-out pose, and even got Pogba to mimic him. These guys seem like the best of buddies.
2. The Ibrahimović
Caption: kidZ #1 Striker #1 Corner it only makes sense..
Part of an exhausting trip to Paris, in which Norman did some sightseeing and then saw his favorite team Paris St. Germain play at home, this photo is the real reason the cornerback flew overseas. He swapped jerseys with Zlatan Ibrahimović, classing up his smile for one of the best players in the world. They also share mutual respect for each other, further solidifying Norman's love for soccer.
3. The Louvre
Caption: "Mona Li, and here Entourage.. As you can see.. Smdh I was not amongst the masses, Got my personal Vip exclusive one on one hah.. But it still was 10ft away But il take that over The 20ft bar-cage all day but This room was by far one of the coolest in the Louvre.."
Sometimes it's hard to understand exactly what Norman is describing in his Instagram captions. For instance, in this video it does seem as though he is among the masses, and not exactly being given exclusive VIP access. However, the video is a great look into The Louvre and the hallway that holds the Mona Lisa and the thousands of tourists that pass through each day.
4. The Harper
Caption: "Mvp Bryce Harper Jno = Saucy "
Norman's introduction to the Washington, D.C., area included visits to the Capital Building and White House Correspondent's Dinner. It also landed him at Nationals Park, where he threw out the first pitch and then met up with slugger Bryce Harper. It seems wherever Norman goes, he surrounds himself with the best. Oh, and there's that tongue again. Saucy.
5. The ESPYs
Caption: "Espys 16' The fella's Cleanup Nice*"
And on cue, just a couple months later, Norman found himself on the red carpet at the ESPYs, posing for a photo next to Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and last year's NBA MVP Steph Curry. No tongue-out pose here – I suppose Norman wanted to keep it classy on the carpet – but an impressive black suit with red pattern wins the fashion game out of that elite trio.
