The Washington, D.C., area – or "the DMV" as it's more affectionately known – is full of vibrant and powerful young people, who are doing big things in the various work fields they're involved in.

In looking up and down the Washington Redskins' roster, the team is hardly lacking for that vibrant and powerful young talent. It's chock full of it.

Four of Washington's young power players – quarterback Kirk Cousins, wide receiver Pierre Garçon and linebackers Will Compton and Ryan Kerrigan – have the distinct honor of being part of Washington Life Magazine's 2017 "Young and the Guest List," which hit newsstands on Wednesday.

There are more than 300 people that made the list, and they're all 40-years-old and younger. A bit of history has also been made with this edition of the magazine, as for the first time in it's 25-year history, *Washington Life Magazine *chose to print two covers, because they needed more space than usual to fit in the 40 young people they photographed – one of whom is Compton, who's on Page 38, alongside D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid.

It's not hard to see why Cousins, Garçon, Compton and Kerrigan made the list. They were all major contributors last season for the Redskins, who helped the team to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since the 1996-97 seasons.
