Friday's NCAA Tournament matinee between the Michigan State Spartans and Georgia Bulldogs will determine alma mater supremacy in the Cousins household.

Kirk, a fourth-year quarterback for the Redskins, attended Michigan State while his wife, Julie, went to Georgia.

Shortly after it was announced that the two schools would face off in a No. 7 vs. No. 10 matchup in the East Region of this year's bracket, Cousins wrote via Sqor, "MSU vs Georgia in the Tournament! This one's personal for me & my wife (UGA grad). Our record is 1-1 after 2009 CapitalOne Bowl & 2012 Outback Bowl. Tiebreaker set for Friday! Go Green!"

Michigan State comes into the matchup with more victories (23 to 21) during the 2014-15 season, and more National Championships (two to zero).

If the Bulldogs pull off the upset, though, Julie may be able to use this photo of Kirk wearing a Georgia shirt as a good tease:
