Jack Pardee's Grandson, High School Rugby Team Given Redskins Park Tour

A member of the Pardee family made it to Redskins Park late last week, but it wasn't as a football player.

Payton Pardee, the grandson of former Redskins head coach Jack Pardee, visited Loudoun County, Va., along with his rugby team from St. Thomas Catholic High School, located in Houston, Texas.

The team and coaches got the opportunity to tour Redskins Park as part of an east coast trip in which they faced Gonzaga College High School over the weekend.

Though, it should be noted, Payton just finished his senior football season playing middle linebacker, the same position that his grandfather Jack Pardee played at Texas A&M and later with the Los Angeles Rams and the Redskins.

He was a two-time All-Pro (1963 and 1971) and later coached the Redskins from 1978-80.
