Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is the No. 1 cornerback in the world right now.
Norman last month was named to the NFL's "Top 100 Players of 2016" list, checking in not only at No. 11 on the countdown, but as the top voted cornerback in the league.
Now, the Coastal Carolina product – who was signed by the Redskins in April – is the top rated cornerback in Madden 17.
Norman checks in with a 94 overall rating, one rating point higher than Chris Harris Jr. of the Denver Broncos.
"Norman is expected to be a lock down corner for the Redskins this season," EA Sports writes. "He is best in zone with his 97 zone coverage rating, but has the ability to match up in man to man situations with 90 speed and 92 man coverage."
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is third with a 92 overall rating. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson (91) and New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis (91) round out the top five.
But the focus here is on Norman. Go ahead and wish your friends playing against you good luck. They're going to need it against him.
