Kirk Cousins Swaps Conversion Van For Pickup Truck In Richmond

There it sat all summer, roasting in the hot Ashburn sun at the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park. Untouched, but surely sticking out in the back parking lot, Trent Williams' conversion van, more specifically the battery inside it, finally gave out.

Cousins found out about the issue upon his return to the park, where he tried to fire it up before heading south. But his trusty mode of transportation just wouldn't start.

"I didn't even get a start at all," Cousins said Thursday. "I called AAA but they were going to take too long, so I just headed down here in my pickup truck. The van will be waiting for me when I get back. Hopefully my wife will be able to replace the battery while I'm gone."

No matter the lucrative franchise tag that Cousins is playing under this season. When you're attached to a vehicle, it's hard to let her go. Just ask Alfred Morris.
