Kirk Cousins Works On His Selfie Game In London

While a lot of NFL players have been enjoying the sun and heat at the Pro Bowl in Honolulu this weekend, quarterback Kirk Cousins has been doing his part to spread the game globally in slightly messier weather.

In an effort to promote the NFL in the U.K. and get fans excited for the Redskins' matchup with the Bengals there this October, Cousins and his wife, Julie, took over the NFL UK's Instagram account on Sunday and toured the city.

This was Cousins' first time across the pond, and so you can tell he's just a little excited as he poses in front of Big Ben and Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye (which they'll take a ride on later this afternoon) and the Tube.

Had to get a Big Ben selfie! #nfluk #httr #wembley

He's got that nice Redskins Wembley Stadium jersey – the "16" denotes the year, not an impending number change. Then, Cousins stopped by a school yard in Kennington, South London, to teach the fundamentals of throwing.

As all good quarterbacks do, he's getting a feel for his environment before he has to play in it. And, hey, he's getting some good selfie practice out of this little adventure, too.

I wonder how many Brits will tell him "You Like That!" on the Tube?
