Perry Riley Jr.'s Interception Makes NFL's Top 5 Catches Of Week 10

Perry Riley Jr. said the ball just "kind of stuck to me," referring to his one-handed grab and cradle interception against the Saints on Sunday.

That, or Riley's ball skills just kicked in and the linebacker used all of his 6-foot, 238 pound frame to leap in front of tight end Benjamin Watson and pull down the pass with one hand to effectively seal the 47-14 blowout victory over New Orleans.

In doing so, he made it to No. 2 on this week's Top 5 Catches list for Week 10.

"Really I just got my eyes on the ball and once I saw it I just kind of put my hand up there," Riley said. "It kind of just fell in place to be honest. I saw it and it was like right here.

"I know I was in because when I fell I saw that my shoulder and everything was inbounds. I had no doubt in my mind it was a pick. I just didn't exactly know what the flag was for."

Riley nearly missed the top spot to Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry, but he was the only defender to make the list, always impressive, especially when going against a future Hall-of-Famer in quarterback Drew Brees.

After struggling to defend the pass against the Patriots last week, Riley was poised to bounce back. He made six tackles and deflected two passes with his interception against the Saints.

"It's the NFL," he said. "We play week to week. I can't bring something that happened last week into this week. I just have to clear out my mind. I still have a lot of confidence in my ability. I just go out there and play football. Sometimes I'm going to make plays sometimes they might make plays on me. I have to keep fighting and keep my confidence high and keep my mind in the right place and everything else will handle itself."
