In March, the White House hosted its annual Easter Egg Roll on the back lawn, a tradition that courts celebrities – Jay-Z anyone? – as well as athletes, including Redskins players , to join children in games and activities. Ricky Jean Francois participated for the first time this year but knew he had to meet someone who wouldn't be back again. So after getting in some playtime and rolling some eggs, Jean Francois strolled inside the White House and found First Lady Michelle Obama, who let him grab a photo after the two shared a few minutes to talk.
"To be able to do that was something I'll always remember and that's the picture that will stick with me for the rest of my life," Jean Francois told ESPN.com. "It was star-studded, but to get a chance to meet Ms. Michelle, that's priceless. You can never ask for a moment like that again. That's why you had to enjoy it."
The First Lady has pushed fitness as one of her major campaigns while her husband has held office, and so she even got in some running with kids and celebs willing to sweat a bit.
"She's a very in-shape woman who can run and doesn't break speed," Jean Francois said. "Seven-tenths of a mile is a long distance, but for her it was easy."
