Redskins Add D.C. Native A.J. Francis To Practice Squad

After two workouts, the Washington Redskins on Wednesday signed defensive lineman A.J. Francis to their practice squad.

Francis, a Washington, D.C., native, played his college ball just down the street in College Park at the University of Maryland.

Francis, 26, signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2013.

Over the past three seasons, Francis has spent time on both the active roster and practice squad with  the Dolphins as well as the Seattle Seahawks.

He has appeared in three career games, totaling two tackles.
