Most people in our country are connected in some way with a member of the United States Armed Forces.

Every day these men and women make sacrifices of their time and their lives to protect our nation.

We honor these courageous individuals every day, but why not give them a little bit more than just a thank you?

Give them a chance to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Redskins Salute and Frito Lay have teamed up to offer Redskins fans the opportunity to give back to the brave men and women who serve our country via the Helmet for Helmet Sweepstakes.

Fans are asked to nominate an active military service member for a chance to spend a day at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va., as an "honorary player for the day."

The winner of this amazing and unforgettable experience will receive two customized Redskins jerseys, four tickets to the Redskins vs. Saints Game on Nov. 15, four pregame field passes, one parking pass and on-field recognition during the game to commemorate their bravery.

Eight additional winners will have the opportunity to win Redskins gameday prizes and Ruth's Chris gift cards.

All fans are welcomed and encouraged to nominate active U.S. Military service members who reside in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia or Delaware and are 18 years or older.

Know an active military service member that inspires you?

Celebrate and show your support for them by entering your nominee into the Helmet for Helmet Sweepstakes by October 26, 2015.

Give back by giving them the chance to join Helmet for Helmet with the Washington Redskins and Redskins Nation as we thank them for their courage.
