Redskins To Host 2018 Redskins Draft Fest Presented By Pepsi

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – Washington Redskins fans are invited to attend the Redskins' Draft Fest Presented by Pepsi at FedExField on Saturday, April 28.

The Draft Fest will feature the debut of the team's first and second round draft picks as well as the 2018 Redskins Cheerleaders. A group of current and former Redskins players will also be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures, schedules permitting. Current players scheduled to attend include Alex Smith, Chris Thompson, Maurice Harris, Ziggy Hood, Dustin Hopkins, Morgan Moses, Mason Foster and Samaje Perine. Admission and parking for the Draft Fest are free for all fans. Fans will be admitted through the Pepsi Gate (Gate H) at 10:30 a.m. and the event will conclude at 2 p.m. Parking Lot A on Garrett Morgan Boulevard will be open at 9:30 a.m. For more details on the Draft Fest and to register for the event, visit www.redskins.com/DraftFest.

Fans will receive a mobile ticket upon registration to be scanned when entering FedExField. Additionally, fans can manage event tickets through the Redskins mobile app, which includes an interactive map and Draft Fest schedule. For an optimized experience, fans should sign in to the app and turn on location and Bluetooth services.

Season Ticket Members who register for the event using their Redskins Account number will receive up to 1,000 Redskins Rewards Yards and up to an additional 1,000 Yards for attendance. First Year Season Ticket Members who preregister and attend the event will also be automatically entered to win one of many unique Redskins Rewards experiences available on www.redskinsrewards.com at the Draft Fest.

This year's Draft Fest will include the Devil's Backbone Beer Garden in the Bud Light Party Pavilion. The Beer Garden will feature multiple DJs, appearances from Redskins players, silent disco, photo booth and interactive games. The main stage on the field will feature performances by the Redskins Cheerleaders and Marching Band as well as other live music.

The Draft Day Dash 5K presented by Shoppers Food and Pharmacy will kick off at 9 a.m. in Lot H with a pre-race party featuring the Redskins Cheerleaders, alumni, drumline, complimentary pre-race snacks and more. The race will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the course will lead participants around the parking lots and through the stadium to finish on field on the 50-yard line. All participants will receive an official burgundy or gray Draft Day Dash T-shirt, a finisher medal and more. Redskins alumni Chris Samuels and Derrick Dockery will be the captains of the burgundy and gray teams respectively, and will help start the race festivities as well as medal participants at the finish line.

The Redskins Charitable Foundation also launched the Military Team Challenge presented by The GCO Consulting Group in an effort to attract more military members and their families to participate in the race. Each runner who registers on the Military Team will receive a special giveaway item for their involvement. Space is limited and the race is expected to sell out. Proceeds from the Draft Day Dash 5K will benefit the Redskins Charitable Foundation, whose mission is to make a positive impact on children in the greater Washington, D.C. area. The Foundation's Draft Day Dash 5K School Challenge will award the top three participating school teams with $10,000, $7,500 and $5,000 health and wellness grants to improve their school environments. Redskins Salute, the team's official military appreciation club, and the USO-Metro will host a Pack 4 Troops event in the USO-Metro Club presented by Lockheed Martin. Redskins Salute members will help pack thousands of care packages for active duty military members and their families. The Women of Washington (WOW), the team's official women's club, will host its VIP Party and Scavenger Hunt for current and new members. Members will be able to enjoy complimentary food and beverage, activities and a designated area to watch the Draft. They will then be able to go on a scavenger hunt around FedExField with the opportunity to win special WOW giveaways. Members will be notified when they are able to RSVP. Media interested in attending the Draft Day Party must contact Tish Carmona of Redskins Public Relations at carmonat@redskins.com to request a credential no later than Friday, April 27 at 5 p.m. Media should enter FedExField through the South Field Tunnel on the day of the event to obtain a credential.

Fans are also encouraged to sign up for the Redskins On The Clock Challenge. If a fan correctly predicts the Redskins' first selection (currently the No. 13 overall selection), he or she will be entered to win two Redskins season tickets and a meet and greet with assorted Redskins 2018 draft picks.
