They may have played together for only one season, but Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware believes Terrance Knighton is the best at his position in the National Football League.
Knighton signed with the Redskins on Friday after two seasons in Denver. The second was spent alongside Ware.
Knighton is the third defensive line signing in the last two weeks, as the Redskins have also acquired Ricky Jean Francois and Stephen Paea.
In six NFL seasons, Knighton has recorded 201 tackles for 12.5 sacks and 10 passes defensed.
