If you see a half Redskins, half Jets jersey up in the stands of FedExField during Friday night's preseason game, it'll likely be Michelle Sudfeld.

She is the mom of Redskins rookie quarterback Nate Sudfeld and New York Jets veteran tight end Nate Sudfeld.

"I guess their rooting for the offense – each side," Sudfeld said of his family. "My mom's got a jersey that's cut in half that's half Redskins, half Jets with mine and my brother's number on it, so that will be pretty cool picture."

Nate said that along with his parents, some of his siblings, cousins and even friends will be in attendance for the game in Landover, Md.

"Some of them are in Texas; a lot from California," he said. "Some are just all throughout the country."

Like Jonathan Allen with three older brothers that have NFL experience of their own, Nate's been able to learn from his older brother about how to be a professional football player.

"Whenever I have a question about anything that I'm going through, he's walked through it, so it's been really special to have a guy who I can kind of lean on at times when I'm kind of wondering how to get through something or how to get better in an area," Nate said. "I'm very fortunate and very grateful to have that resource."
