With A Little Help From Magic, Samaje Perine Came Up Big In His Wedding Proposal

Washington Redskins running back Samaje Perine had an incredible career at Oklahoma where he became the all-time leading rusher in just three seasons, amassing 4,122 rushing yards.

In February, Perine proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Meg, and just like he dazzled throughout his collegiate career, Perine added a little bit of magic.

Perine did need a little help in order for the proposal to go smoothly, so he requested help from a few of his Sooner teamates, other college football standouts and YouTube magician Daniel Fernandez.

During the act, Fernandez wanted to test Perine and Meg's connection with each other and had them write a message on a card.  After the message was written, Fernandez performed a card-swap trick that revealed each other's message to one another.

When Meg went to read what her now-fiancée had written, Perine dropped to a knee with a ring.

Just like his career at Oklahoma, his proposal will be a hard act to follow.
