The Commanders hosted a women's college flag football matchup between the University of Virginia and Marymount University at the BigBear.ai Performance Center in Ashburn. This regular season game marks a major milestone as women's flag football was officially recognized as an emerging NCAA sport in January 2026.

Coinciding with our international game in Madrid vs the Miami Dolphins, we kicked off our expansion into the United Arab Emirates with a high-energy watch party, creating a vibrant, family-friendly experience featuring interactive activities, custom giveaways, and full venue branding.

Kullna Commanders Youth Football Camp

We hosted the Kullna Youth Flag Football Camp on Saturday, January 31, at the Abu Dhabi Sports and Cricket Hub, bringing together coaches, youth athletes, and families to advance the growth of flag football in the region. More than 150 participants came together, representing 25+ nationalities and 40+ schools.

The camp trained 15 coaches and delivered 135 CPD hours—strengthening quality, safety, and scalable programming for schools—while youth participants took part in hands-on flag football drills. The event earned overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents and marked a meaningful milestone in expanding the sport and solidifying our presence as the local home team.

Commanders Combine at the Corporate Games

On January 17–18, we took part in the Corporate Games on Hudayriyat Island, where we hosted a flag football combine with a variety of drills and skills. The event welcomed more than 2,400 attendees, including families, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with our team, test their skills, and enjoy branded giveaways.
