Washington Redskins center Kory Lichtensteiger was ready to watch the Washington Nationals play ball Thursday evening against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Nationals tweeted out the above photo of Lichtensteiger with first baseman Ryan Zimmerman shortly before first pitch.
Behind Zimmerman's two RBIs and stellar defensive play, the Nationals took down their National League East foes by a final of 5-2.
While Lichtensteiger was there simply to see some of D.C.'s other professional athletes do work, we'd imagine that the center, if given the chance to throw out the first pitch, would probably hike it like a football.
