Commanders fans showed up at the National Harbor to celebrate their team drafted Jayden Daniels and eight other rookies to make up the 2024 class.

To celebrate Women's History Month, the Women of Washington hosted a panelist event at DC Prime on Saturday, March 16th. The event was hosted by Commanders in-game host, GeNienne Samuels, with a panel of four women making a profound impact within the sports industry. Our panelist included: Sally Nnamani, Lois Cook, Lis Driscoll and Chanelle Reynolds. All proceeds of this special event were donated to the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation.

The Washington Commanders repped their causes during practice this week in preparation for the NFL's "My Cause, My Cleats" initiative.

On Wednesday, June 14, the Washington Commanders announced a $75,000 donation to Digital Pioneers Academy to assist in the launch of its first-ever football program. Commanders President Jason Wright, Commanders players Saahdiq Charles, Kamren Curl, Jarrett Patterson, and Darrick Forest and Commanders Director of Alumni Engagement joined a student assembly on the Digital Pioneers Academy's last day of school.

Digital Pioneers Academy is a public charter school operating two campuses in the District of Columbia seeking fundraising support for the launch of its football program, expected to begin in the fall. The Commanders are proud to support this effort, particularly as the Digital Pioneers Academy community recovers from the recent loss of two students to gun violence.

Charles Leno Jr. and his wife Jen made a visit to Rose Hill Elementary School in Fairfax, Virginia for a special reading session. Leno sat with a group of first graders to read Russell Wilson and Ciara's children's book "Why Not You?". After finishing the book, Leno spent time discussing the kids' favorite parts and biggest takeaways. The Lenos capped off the afternoon by handing out books and swag bags filled with sunglasses, bracelets and more.
