The Washington Commanders entered their second offseason with general manager Adam Peters at the helm with several holes to fill, and one of the biggest was at edge rusher. 

Tunsil (6-5, 361) is a 10-year NFL veteran who entered the league with the Miami Dolphins as a first-round pick (13th overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft. In his career, Tunsil has started in all 125 games he has appeared in and is a five-time Pro Bowler. In 2016, he earned PFWA All-Rookie Team honors.

Goldman (6-3, 320) is a seven-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He’s played in 98 career games with 83 starts and tallied 123 tackles, 14.0 sacks and 19 tackles for loss.

In 2024, Jones appeared in 17 games for New England and tallied 58 tackles, six passes defended and two forced fumbles. He started at least 14 games for the third consecutive season.

Last season, Kinlaw played and started in all 17 games and recorded a single season career-high in combined tackles (40), sacks (4.5), tackles for loss (5), and forced fumbles (2).

In 2024, McNichols recorded 261 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns, both career-highs. In Week 4 against Arizona, he started his first career game at running back and had the first multi-touchdown game of his career. Seymour saw action in three games and tallied two total tackles while primarily seeing action on special teams.

Ertz believes there’s no other tight end who’s better at clearing running lanes and protecting quarterbacks.

Harris (6-1, 206) is a six-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round (81st overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has played in 92 career games with 53 starts and totaled 218 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles.
