Series history, broadcast information, connections and more from Sunday's Redskins-Giants 2016 regular season Week 3 matchup at MetLife Stadium.

REGULAR SEASON WEEK 3WASHINGTON REDSKINS (0-2) vs. NEW YORK GIANTS (2-0)

Sunday, Sept. 25 | 1:00 p.m. ET

MetLife Stadium (82,500) | East Rutherford, N.J.

The Washington Redskins will play their first road game of the 2016 season on Sunday, Sept. 25, when the team faces the New York Giants. Kickoff at MetLife Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Sunday's game will be the 169th all-time meeting between the Redskins and Giants, including postseason play. The Giants are the Redskins' most common opponent, ahead of the Eagles (162) and Cardinals (121).

The road contest will be the Redskins' first since posting a 3-0 road record down the stretch in December and January last season. A win on Sunday would mark the Redskins' fourth consecutive road victory, their first such streak since Weeks 4-12 of the 2008 season.

After being limited to one sack in the season opener against Pittsburgh, the Redskins compiled four sacks of Dallas' Dak Prescott last week. Dating back to last season, the Redskins have amassed at least four sacks in four of their last five regular season games. Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan enters Week 3 a sack away from becoming the third player to post 50.0 career sacks with the Redskins since 1982.

Quarterback Eli Manning has spent his entire career with the Giants after initially being selected in the first round by the San Diego Chargers in the 2004 NFL Draft. He concluded his 12th season with the Giants last season completing 387-of-618 passes (62.6 percent) for 4,432 yards and 35 touchdowns. Through two games this season, Manning has completed 51-of-69 passes for 575 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

Running back Rashad Jennings led the Giants last season with 195 carries for 863 yards and three touchdowns. Jennings has gained 102 yards on 31 carries, both team highs, this season.

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. leads the Giants in receptions this season with 12, a year after posting team highs with 96 catches for 1,450 yards and 13 touchdowns.
