7th Annual Back to School Fair presented by the Washington Football Charitable Foundation
On Friday, August 13th , the Washington Football Charitable Foundation hosted their 7th Annual Back to School Fair where approximately 1,000 elementary-aged children with identified need from the D.C. Metro Area visited FedExField for a central place to receive information and items to prepare them for the upcoming school year. Children were able to receive services such as dental exams, vision screenings, backpacks, school supplies, sports equipment and more! Each family also received two tickets to attend the Washington Football Team vs. Cincinnati Bengals preseason game on August 20th, courtesy of the Washington Football Team.

On Tuesday, April 26th, Washington Commanders co-owner and co-CEO Tanya Snyder, Head Coach Ron Rivera and his wife Stephanie Rivera and Commanders players Jonathan Allen and Jamin Davis teamed up with USO to hand deliver care packages to troops at BWI airport just before they board the plane for deployment. The USO2GO Packs handed out today were packaged during the Commander's packaging event held on March 10th at FedExField, when the team and USO together packed 4,0000 Care Packages comprising more than 24,000 items for troops. Inova and the Redskins teamed up to bring local emergency medical professionals to the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park to compete for the fourth Annual Hero Bowl Flag Football Title.

Five Redskins Read schools were invited to Redskins Park to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday.The schools rotated through five different stations – each station was themed around a different Dr. Seuss story. The stations included a variety of activities, including relays, obstacle courses and crafts.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation partnered with the Embassy of Qatar and D.C. United to hold the Qatar National Day of Sport event at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Over 500 elementary school students from DC Public Schools participated in the event which featured physical activity stations and a tour of the National Children's Museum.
PHOTOS: Redskins Host 2020 Winter ASPIRE Summit
The ASPIRE initiative, created for 7th grade girls, focused on inspiring, educating and building confidence in young women from Loudoun County and Fairfax County Public Schools. All participating students were selected by school counselors and career specialists based on need and readiness.
The winter summit allowed students to hear from a panel of influential women in the sports industry coming from a variety of career paths and backgrounds. The students will then go more in-depth on topics in specialized breakouts around social entrepreneurship and creating a healthier version of themselves. Students will enjoyed lunch in the team dining facility before dividing into two breakout sessions to continue the summit.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted 200 elementary students, who also received Papa John's pizza lunch served by the players and cheerleaders. After lunch, students were divided into small groups where they rotated through four fun, holiday activity stations.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and American Dairy Association Northeast teamed up to host a Fuel Up to Play 60 Special at The Nokesville School.

This year's Harvest Feast is be the 17th annual pre-Thanksgiving food distribution event for Prince George's County residents in need. This event is made possible through the generosity of our partners and sponsors, specifically, Ryan Homes, Safeway, Bank of America, Capital Area Food Bank, PepsiCo, FedEx, Prince George's County Department Social Services and the Redskins Charitable Foundation. On Monday, 200 volunteers assisted in assembling 7,500 bags of dry goods, perishables and beverages that were distributed to families the following day, Tuesday, November 12.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation orchestrated three projects simultaneously throughout the DMV area on Saturday, October 19, as a part of the Redskins Huddle for 100, a league-wide initiative that encourages fans to volunteer for 100 minutes in honor of the NFL's 100th season.
