Doughty On Taylor's Passing: 'A Shock'

On when he heard of the passing of Sean Taylor:

"I heard the news this morning. I got a call about 6 a.m. in the morning and I heard the unfortunate news."

On the last time he talked to Sean Taylor:

"Right before I left for the game. I stepped in for him the last few games he was injured. I heard a lot of words of encouragement and to go play my best. He always believed in me and that meant a lot."

On if the team is talking amongst themselves reliving memories of Sean Taylor:

"I think it's a little premature for that right now. I think that the shock of it right now is the hardest part, especially with maybe some encouraging words last night going to bed. To hear the news this morning is still really hard to handle."

On how to prepare to play football considering the circumstances:

"It seems really arbitrary at this point. Certain things happen in your life and we should know that this is just a game. He was a good person and that's what we remember."

On how he will be able to play football again:

"I think that is a process we will take an hour at a time right now. Obviously we do have a game this weekend, but that is the farthest thing from my mind and anybody else's mind at this point. I guess we'll just take that as it comes."
