As a kid, Samaje Perine and his friends used to spend all their free time playing outside. With only a few video game options, they would run around until the sun went down and his grandma said he had to come inside.

However, Perine's pastimes differ from those of today's youth. With so much technology at their fingertips, maintaining an active lifestyle has become a struggle. To counteract that, Perine is working with **Redskins FITT** to instill a healthy lifestyle amongst younger children.

"Just getting outside for at least an hour, even 30 minutes, it's huge," Perine said. "Just to get out and be active and be something. Not just sit down and eat snacks."
