Redskins-Red Cross Blood Drive

Redskins fans -- Support your team and your local Red Cross by making a life-saving blood donation!

The American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake and Potomac (GC&P) Blood Services Region and the Washington Redskins have teamed up for a community blood drives on Friday, Sept. 30 at FedExField.

The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on the Club Level of the Redskins' stadium.

The Red Cross will provide all blood drive participants with one (1) game ticket to the Redskins' game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 16 or another 2011 Redskins home game at FedExField!

There will be special appearances by Redskins greats Gary Clark and Ed Simmons as well as a visit by the Redskins Cheerleaders!

The events are part of a series of season-long Redskins-Red Cross blood drives with participating locations in Washington, D.C., Virginia or Maryland. More than 4,000 area participants attended a series of Redskins-Red Cross blood drives during the 2010-11 season and hundreds more attended off-season special events.

Appointments are strongly suggested. Group registrations are also encouraged.
