Juniper Roast Chicken
1 package Cuisine Solutions Sous Vide Half Chicken, thawed under refrigeration
½ C extra virgin olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1 T juniper berries
1 T rosemary leaves
Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Open the pouch and place the chicken in an oven-safe dish.
Blend the garlic, juniper berries, rosemary, and olive oil with a hand blender. Refrigerate until needed (can be made 2 days in advance).
Brush the marinade onto the chicken. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and heat for 25 minutes. Remove foil 10 minutes before the time is up and return to oven for crispy skin.
Place cavatappi in a microwave-safe dish and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and microwave for an additional 2 minutes. Serve the pasta alongside the chicken.
