Special Guests Announced For Redskins 2016 Draft Day Party

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that current Redskins players including Pierre Garçon, Ricky Jean Francois, Preston Smith, Chris Baker and Josh Norman,as well as Redskins Alumni Clinton Portis and Santana Moss,will attend the Redskins' annual Draft Day Party at FedExField on Saturday, April 30 along with the Redskins' selections in the first three rounds of the 2016 Draft.

The current and former players* *will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans, schedules permitting. The team's first two picks of Day 3 will be announced live on location.

All fans can watch the NFL Draft on the high definition video boards, as well as tour the Redskins locker room, test their passing and kicking skills, dress like a Redskins player, and take pictures with the Super Bowl trophies. Family friendly activities including a moon bounce and a photo booth will also be available.

Redskins Salute, the team's official military appreciation platform, will have an exclusive VIP Party from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Bud Light Party Pavilion tent. Members can enjoy light tailgating with complimentary food and beverage, raffle prizes, giveaways and a special appearance by Redskins defensive back Bashaud Breeland. Limited spots are available and fans can RSVP at http://bit.ly/1VY9QQF. There will also be activations by various military vendors including an inflatable drill instructor, inflatable football toss, corn hole, giveaways and more.

Fans can tune in to ESPN980 and the ESPN980 app as "The Sports Reporters" with Andy Pollin will broadcast live onsite from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Scott Jackson, co-host of "Inside the Locker Room", and Tim Murray, co-host of "DMV Game Time" will also broadcast live onsite from 1 – 4 p.m.

The second annual Mock Draft Challenge is currently running, in which participants are invited to accurately predict the top 10 players selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft in the correct order, as well as the Redskins first selection in the 2016 NFL Draft.  The Grand Prize of 2016 Club Level season tickets will be awarded to any eligible participant who accurately predicts all eleven selections in question.

The contest ends on April 28 at 5 p.m. ET. Winners will be determined within 48 hours after the end of the first round of the draft. Submissions should be made online by going to www.redskins.com/mockdraft.

Admission and parking for the Draft Day Party is free for all fans. Parking lots open at 10 a.m. and fans will be admitted through the Comcast SportsNet Gate (Gate H) at 11 a.m. For more details on the Draft Day Party and to register for the event, visit www.Redskins.com/DraftDay.
