- The Washington Commanders defeated the New York Giants 27-22 on Sunday.
- Washington improved to 7-2 for the first time since 1996.
- Washington won both matchups against New York this season, and for the first time since 2021.
- Washington went 2-for-2 on fourth down in the first half. Per Elias Sports, it is the first time since at least 1980 (when the stat began being tracked) Washington has started a season 11-for-11 on fourth down.
- Head Coach Dan Quinn earned his 50th career regular season victory as a head coach with Sunday's win.

Offense
- QB Jayden Daniels completed 15-of-22 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns.
- Daniels added eight rushes for 38 yards on the ground.
- Daniels became the first rookie quarterback to start and win two games against New York since at least 1950.
- WR Terry McLaurin finished with two receptions for 19 yards and two touchdowns. With his two touchdowns, McLaurin now has four games with multiple touchdowns.
- McLaurin now has six touchdowns this season, the most since his rookie season (2019).
- McLaurin is the 10th player in franchise history to record 30 touchdowns.
- WR Noah Brown had five catches for 60 yards. He led Washington in both categories.
- RB Chris Rodriguez rushed for a team-high 52 yards on 11 carries.
- RB Austin Ekeler recorded 11 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown.
Defense
- LB Dante Fowler had two sacks, two quarterback hits and one forced fumble. This marked Fowler's 10thmulti-sack game of his career.
- Fowler's first quarter sack marked the 50th of his career.
- LB Bobby Wagner added seven tackles and one fumble recovery, the 11th of his career.
- S Jeremy Chinn totaled 12 tackles and one pass defense.
Special Teams
- K Austin Seibert converted on all three of his extra point attempts and both field goal tries (31 yards and 20 yards).
- Seibert has made at least two field goals in seven of his eight games played this season.
