FedExField is scheduled to have its playing surface re-sodded following the Oct. 4 Redskins-Buccaneers game.

Replacement was scheduled after four home games, two concerts and a soccer match. The events were anticipated to take a toll on the field.

The re-sodding calls for removal of the existing grass, beginning immediately following the Redskins-Buccaneers game.

The new grass is going to be laid starting on Monday.
